NCLEX-PN SATA Practice Test 3

Reviewed by Winona Suzanne Ball, Nursing Adviser, RN | MHS, Governors State University, IL, Full member of the American Nurses Association.

On your NCLEX-PN® exam the majority of the questions you’ll get will be multiple-choice, four-option, text-based questions. You’ll also get 10-15 SATA (“select all that apply” questions. For those, you’ll need to select all answer choices that apply. You’ll need to get all options correct (even if you miss one, it is considered wrong; there’s no partial credit). The most important thing to keep in mind about SATA questions is to think of them as being four separate and distinct true/false questions. You should look at each answer option as a separate true/false statement. If the question is asking for a true answer, then match your true statements to the question. If the question is asking for a false statement, then match your identified false statements to the question.
