NCLEX-PN Drug Dosage Calculation Test

Reviewed by Winona Suzanne Ball, Nursing Adviser, RN | MHS, Governors State University, IL, Full member of the American Nurses Association.

We know figuring out doses is a challenge for nursing candidates. They get anxious about calculations -- for good reason. It can be a lot to figure out, especially with the time constraints of the actual NCLEX-PN. A lot of our users have asked for more drug dosage calculation questions, and we listened. After all, the more you can practice, the more confident you’ll be for your exam. We’ve prepared a separate test that contains 40 Pharmacological Dosage Calculation problems for NCLEX-PN -- hopefully you’ll find it challenging enough! This practice test has questions about dosage calculations, IV drip rates, insulin administration, converting pounds to kilograms, change percentages, tube feeding, TPN, and IV drip rate calculations.
Ensuring the accuracy and quality of our practice materials is paramount. Learn more about our rigorous standards in our Commitment to Accuracy article.
