Which medications can be affected by eating large quantities of garlic (Allium sativum)?

Garlic may interact with anticoagulant and antiplatelet drugs, such as Clopidogrel (Plavix), Warfarin, aspirin, and heparin when consistently consumed in large qantities. It can also interfere with NSAIDs, such as Celecoxib (Celebrex), Ibuprofren, Indomethacin (Indocin), and Naproxen. Garlic contains chemicals that can reduce the stickiness of blood components called platelets. Platelets are partly responsible for forming blood clots that stop bleeding from injuries or other types of damage to the blood vessels.
