A disease developed when the body's normal tolerance of the antigens of its own cells (autoantigens [Aag] or self-antigens) is disrupted. Examples of auto-immune diseases include Systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, type 1 diabetes, multiple sclerosis, glomulonephritis, and Graves disease.
