A social phobia when one feels overwhelming symptoms of anxiety when leaving home. Symptoms include tachycardia, chest pain, difficulty breathing, gastrointestinal distress, weatness, faintness, sweating, or fear of impending doom or dying. People avoid symptoms by staying home or rarely leaving.
